Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and your reservation of a space at Highway 85 Storage LLC's facility in Cheyenne, Wyoming. By using this site or submitting a reservation, you agree to these terms.

These terms are a summary for the website and reservation process only. If you become a tenant, your actual storage rental is governed by the separate written Lease Agreement you sign at move-in. If anything here conflicts with your signed Lease Agreement, the Lease Agreement controls.

Using this website

• You must be at least 18 years old to reserve a space or sign a lease with us.
• You agree to give us accurate contact, vehicle, and payment information.
• A reservation places a temporary hold on a space — it isn't a lease, and isn't final until you sign a Lease Agreement and pay any required deposit.
• You won't use this site for any unlawful purpose or to interfere with its normal operation.

What you're renting

Spaces are outdoor, uncovered, unattended ground space only. We don't take custody of your property, and storage is at your own risk — we aren't responsible for theft, vandalism, weather, fire, water, rodents, or other damage, including damage caused by our own ordinary negligence. Cameras, fencing, gates, and lighting are site features, not a security guarantee — they may not be monitored in real time.

Insurance

You're required to carry your own insurance on your stored property for the full term of your lease, with a carrier licensed in Wyoming, and to keep proof of that coverage current with us. At minimum, that means physical damage coverage (comprehensive and collision, or an equivalent stored-vehicle or watercraft policy) for not less than the property's actual cash value, and liability coverage of not less than $300,000 combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage.

Payments and fees

Rent is charged automatically each month to the payment method on file, and you're responsible for keeping it current. A $20.00 late fee applies if rent isn't received in full by the 5th day of the month.

Rules

• No one may live, sleep, or stay overnight in a stored vehicle or at the facility.
• No live animals may be left in a stored vehicle or space.
• No hazardous, illegal, or explosive materials may be stored.
• You must have legal ownership or authorization for anything you store with us.

Non-payment and lien rights

If you don't pay, we can lock you out of your space, assert a lien on the property stored in it, and have that property towed and sold or disposed of, at your expense, to the fullest extent permitted by the Wyoming Self-Service Storage Facility Act (Wyo. Stat. § 29-7-101 et seq.) and other applicable Wyoming law, after providing the notices and waiting periods that law requires.

Facility sale or redevelopment

If this property is ever sold or redeveloped, we'll give you at least 30 days' written notice to remove your property. In that situation, your only remedy is a refund of any rent you've prepaid for time you won't get to use.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your storage rental is limited as described in your Lease Agreement, regardless of the value of the property you store with us.

Governing law

These terms and your Lease Agreement are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Any dispute must be brought in the state courts of Laramie County, Wyoming, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our site or facility after a change means you accept the updated terms.
